Currently in development is a new, low cost triggered spark gap to compete with the standard production gaps. The design implements an innovative approach triggering the gap without requiring the additional third electrode. The triggered spark gaps will initially be offered in two configurations and two operating voltages.

The low cost fireset has been repackaged to provide an improved design.
